My predictions for the October 4, 2011 Apple event

My predictions:

New iPhone

  • Teardrop shape
  • slightly larger screen
  • Same processor as iPad 2
  • not announced, but 1GB of ram
  • 32 and 64 GB models
  • Released third week of October

iOS 5

  • Release Candidate released day of event
  • Public release two days before new iPhone launches
  • Nuance voice capture and Siri integrated

  • No Steve Jobs
